The University Council is the central participatory body of UM. Comprising of 9 student members and 9 staff members, the council considers matters which are of a concern for the entire University, from study spaces to the annual budget to the five year strategic plan. We are constructively critical of proposals and work with the Executive Board to steer a course for UM’s future. Working with our colleagues on Faculty and Program levels we consider what is in the best interests of students and staff. For more information, and to participate in our speakers quarter, please see our website.
To ensure the best possible representation of your voices throughout UM, the FSE Student Council is collaborating with the student representatives in the University Council, in particularly those from FSE programmes, on a case-by-case basis.
